This site is for me to post reviews for movies and possibly other things such as video games and books. I use a scale of 1-10, where 6/10 translates to 3 stars out of 5.
I will generally have more to say about films I have seen more than once, and films that are somehow more interesting (in good or bad ways) than others.
Ratings roughly explained (might edit later):
1/10 utter garbage, avoid unless you’re a masochist
2/10 garbage with slight effort
3/10 garbage with redeeming qualities
4/10 below average
5/10 average
6/10 good
7/10 very good
8/10 great
9/10 excellent
10/10 excellent+
I will attempt to be objective but there will be some subjectivity leaking through. Ultimately my ratings, however I try to justify them, are my opinions. You are welcome to disagree with them.
